Send mail to ClydeThe first poem I remember writing, 'Not Far Away', was for my wife Debbie in 1975. If I wrote before that time, I was unaware of it as writing. The first song, 'Something and Nothing', followed shortly after in the spring of 1976. Although neither of my first two writings are included in these works, they are, I believe, my initiation into the world of song. My wife and children have listened to my songs for the remainder of the years that followed. My introduction to recording came in 1994 as a gift for Debbie. Although only two works, the project lasted until February 1995, and though it started simply as a gift, I became hooked. Financial restrictions of the time did not allow me to pursue recording as I may have wanted, but I felt I would find the resources as time passed. Fortunately I was able to find the resources quicker than I had anticipated. I treat my recording sessions as others would treat their hobbies. When friends would go hunting or fishing, I went recording.
